Meet the Boss

Join us for our annual Meet the Boss event, where we bring together a panel of UC San Diego alumni to share their inspiring stories of career success and entrepreneurship. This intimate gathering, typically held in the winter quarter, offers a unique opportunity for student attendees to learn from the experiences of 3-5 alumni panelists. Through their journeys, our panelists will provide valuable insights, practical advice, and lessons learned, helping to empower the next generation of leaders and innovators. Following the panel discussion, join us for an exclusive alumni reception, where you can connect with our guest alumni panelists, network with fellow students, and build meaningful relationships. Light food and refreshments will be provided, allowing you to mingle and connect with others in a relaxed atmosphere. Senior Send Off

The Student Foundation, in collaboration with Associated Students (AS), proudly presents the Senior Send-Off section of Bear Garden, an exciting event celebrating the achievements of graduating seniors. As part of this event, the Student Foundation brings fun activities and valuable resources specifically designed for our soon-to-be graduates.

Seniors, get ready for an unforgettable experience! Enjoy activities like the Senior Toast, tie-dyeing, bouquet making, and writing a letter to your future self. There will also be exciting games, exclusive freebies, and more, all in celebration of your incredible journey as a Triton.

Additionally, take advantage of the various resources available at the Senior Send-Off, including connections with the Alumni Engagement Office and important college senior resources. Don’t miss out on this special event to commemorate your accomplishments and kick off the next chapter of your life!

Scholarship Reception

Each year, the Student Foundation proudly celebrates the recipients of its scholarship at a special reception. This event provides an opportunity for scholarship recipients to share their personal stories, including how the scholarship has supported their academic journey and helped them pursue higher education. We are excited to hear about their future plans and how the Student Foundation has played a role in helping them achieve their goals. Their inspiring stories will motivate other students to apply for the scholarship and contribute to the Student Foundation Scholarship Fund.Additionally, we invite UC San Diego alumni to attend and create meaningful engagement opportunities that will further support current students on their path to success.

Triton Giving Day

Triton Giving Day is UC San Diego's annual day of giving. This 24-hour fundraising event unites the Triton community to support the university’s schools and colleges, student programs, campus resources, and vital initiatives. During this special day, Student Foundation trustees implement a variety of creative strategies and activities designed to inspire students to give to the Student Foundation Scholarship Fund and Senior Class Gift Fund. Through engaging events and opportunities, we aim to motivate everyone to contribute to the ongoing success and future of UC San Diego students.
